Meme card rarity on MyMemeCards reads in stars: one for a Common, five for a Mythic. Here are the exact odds, also published in the terms.
The five rarities
Numbers for series 1 of the Memes World pack, the Classics:
| Rarity | Cards | Per card | One given card, per pack | Recycling (MemeCoins) | Rarity gap (γ) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 133 | about 72% | about 1 in 37 | 5 | 1 |
| Rare | 85 | about 23.9% | about 1 in 71 | 10 | 2 |
| Epic | 43 | about 3.2% | about 1 in 269 | 20 | 3 |
| Legendary | 14 | about 0.56% | about 1 in 504 | 40 | 4 |
| Mythic | 15 | about 0.3% | about 1 in 1,000 | 80 | 5 |
“Per card” is the average over the 5 cards of a pack. The next column says how many packs it takes, on average, to pull one specific card of that rarity.
Card by card odds in a pack
A pack holds 5 cards, and they do not all follow the same table.
Cards 1 to 3: always a common.

Dynamic rarity
The rates above never move with circulation: it only decides which card comes out within a rarity. A card weighs ((average copies of its rarity + 1) ÷ (its copies + 1))γ, the γ of the last column. The higher the rarity, the wider the gap: a Mythic far more common than its rarity’s average weighs much less than its neighbours, but never zero, so it always comes out. Duplicates count: a card burnt, staked and lost, or recycled becomes easier to pull again.
Full Art and Shiny
Each card of a pack has about 0.8% chance of being a Full Art, with at most one per pack; a Full Art is worth twice its base rarity when recycled. Each card has about 0.2% chance of being Shiny, worth three times more when recycled.

Frequently asked questions
What is the rarest rarity?
Mythic: about 0.3% of the cards pulled. A given Mythic comes out about once every 1,000 packs.
Do the odds change?
The rarity odds never change. Within a rarity, a card that circulates a lot comes out less often: that is dynamic rarity.
Where are the odds published?
