A meme TCG is a trading card game where every card is an internet meme. MyMemeCards is that game: you open packs of meme cards, chase the rare ones, trade your duplicates and play with your collection, right in the browser.
What is a meme TCG?
TCG stands for trading card game, also called a collectible card game: sealed packs with random contents, cards of different rarities, and duplicates you swap with other players. A meme TCG keeps all of that and changes what is printed on the cards: reaction images, catchphrases, viral videos and the characters the internet never stopped remixing. Some people search for “TCG memes” or a “meme cards game”: on MyMemeCards the memes are the cards themselves, from Trollface and Doge to the trends of this year.
How the meme card game plays
- Open a pack. 5 cards: three Commons, a fourth card of any rarity, and a fifth card that is never Common.
- Collect by rarity. Every card has a number, a rarity from Common to Mythic, and can come out as a Full Art or a Shiny.
- Recycle duplicates into MemeCoins, the in-game currency.
- Trade and bid. Swap cards with your friends, or put them up for auction; every card shows its average sale price.
- Play with your cards. Mini-games such as Numbers, Doge Road, Nyan Plinko, Stonks and Find Pepe put a duplicate at stake for MemeCoins.
Five rarities, and the odds are public
The further a meme spread and the longer it lasted, the rarer its card. Here is the chance of each rarity for one card, averaged over a pack:
- Common72%
- Rare23.9%
- Epic3.2%
- Legendary0.56%
- Mythic0.3%
- Full Art0.8%
- Shiny0.2%
A given Mythic of the Classics pack shows up about once every 1,000 packs. The full tables are in the pack odds, and the guide to meme card packs explains every slot.
Which memes are in the game?
Three packs: the Memes World pack (series 1, the Classics, with 290 cards and 10 Full Art, then series 2 to 70: 20,059 more internet memes), the Memes FR pack (952 French memes) and the Cats limited edition. Each card has its own page telling where the meme comes from, what it means and how to get it. The most wanted cards right now are the Mythics: “Navy Seal Copypasta”, “Slender Man”, “( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) / Lenny Face”, “Forever Alone”.

A real TCG, without the cardboard
The cards are digital: nothing to ship, nothing to lose, and the game runs on a phone or a computer without installing anything. You can add it to your home screen like an app. Rarity is dynamic: the more copies of a card circulate, the less often it comes out of packs, so a complete collection keeps its value. MemeCoins cannot be cashed out, and selling cards for real money is not allowed.
Is the meme TCG free?
Yes, to start: your first pack opens at the top of this page, without an account. Once you sign in, a free pack comes back every 10 minutes, up to 3 in reserve. Extra packs and the EXPERT subscription are paid, but nothing requires paying to play.
