Where does the “Alphabet Lore” meme come from?
The series was launched by American animator Mike Salcedo. The first video, titled “A”, appeared on Twitter on February 2, 2022. Salcedo developed this project by transforming the 26 letters of the Latin alphabet into distinct entities. These characters communicate essentially through their phonetic sounds. The story evolves rapidly: it goes from isolated clips to a continuous plot. A major conflict opposes letter F to other members, who try to stop its actions. The growing complexity of this mythology favored the virality of the content on social media.
