In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “GussDx” is a mythic card of the Cancel & Dramas pack, number 36 of the collection, and the 25th best-known meme of its 117 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “GussDx” meme mean?
The GussDx affair became a textbook case of suspicion around fake proof on YouTube. A paranormal scene, an accusation of staging, frame-by-frame analyses, then the channel vanishes: the meme evokes distrust of “extraordinary” videos and shows that a community can investigate. Use it for a clip too good to be true, or for a creator whose credibility collapses.
Where does the “GussDx” meme come from?
GussDx published a paranormal exploration series called Chasseur de fantômes (Ghost Hunter). In episode 1 of season 2, shot at the Moncade tower, a box moves or falls in front of the camera. Another video maker, Samuel, who would become Mr. Sam, started the controversy by questioning the scene’s authenticity. Mr. Sam later republished his analyses in a series titled “Fake ?” and said the affair launched his channel.
