What does the “The Guru of Harassment and Misogyny” meme mean?
The phrase casts PFut ironically as a figure associated with accusations of harassment and misogyny. It brings together several episodes: Ponce’s criticism before the Eleven All Stars, PFut’s name coming up at Ultia’s trial, and his later apology over an impersonation dating to 2021. People use it to point back to that sequence of controversy; the label itself is not a legal finding.
Where does the “The Guru of Harassment and Misogyny” meme come from?
The phrase comes from a post Ponce published on Twitter/X on October 28, 2022. He called someone a “grand guru of harassment and misogyny,” implicitly referring to PFut, who had been announced as a participant in the Eleven All Stars. The football match, organized by AmineMaTue, took place on November 19, 2022, at Stade Jean-Bouin. Ponce objected to behavior he considered harmful to women and likely to fuel hatred. The source also mentions a livestream segment in which PFut reportedly mocked Ponce and Ultia, but does not identify the specific show or video. PFut’s name later came up at Ultia’s cyberharassment trial on January 21, 2025. He called his 2021 impersonation of Ultia a “mistake,” while denying that he had encouraged harassment. The source does not establish who created the meme or when it first appeared.
