Where does the “The Unread Statement” meme come from?
In 2023, France debated a bill to regulate influencer activity on social media. Dr Nozman, a science communicator followed by several million subscribers on YouTube, joined an open letter signed by 150 creators opposing the bill. When later asked about the letter's specific content, he admitted he had signed it without reading it, a confession that surprised many given his reputation as a meticulous communicator who has his own videos fact-checked by specialists before publishing.
