The joke hinges on a sexual double meaning. After Matthieu Delormeau dismisses Koh-Lanta’s pole challenge, Jean-Michel Maire suggests that Delormeau can remain in a much more suggestive position for hours. Online, it can be reused to tease someone who has been standing still, waiting, or focusing on something for an unusually long time. Its effect comes from the sudden shift in topic and tone.
