Interviewed by Konbini, Adrien François explained that his older cousin Baptiste asked him for a quick joke during half-time, so he told that one, and the cousin posted it to his Instagram wall. Faced with the reaction, the cousin asked Adrien's mother to upload it to YouTube, and the video escaped everyone. Adrien points out that the joke is not his own but a Carambar candy-wrapper classic, and judges that the riddle itself was barely funny — the way he told it did the work.
