What does the “La cuenta du 7” meme mean?
The meme evokes the free jab thrown at a player about his look rather than his game. Number 7 is the target of the joke, and “la cuenta” becomes his nickname of the moment.
Where does the “La cuenta du 7” meme come from?
The scene is simple: during a football match, some young people teased the number 7 about his haircut. The clip was shared as a short video, then the phrase “la cuenta du 7” caught on to name that ribbing. It works as a clip nickname, detached from the original match, quoted to evoke the moment without having to retell it.
