They first posted on Dailymotion before moving to YouTube, then took the Wankil Studio name; they launched the Wankul trading cards in June 2023. Among their gaming videos, the How to Fish series puts the two friends in the role of anglers, with titles like “C’est comme ça qu’on pêche comme des hommes” (“that’s how real men fish”). Laink the fisherman is the character the card says was created in the game: an avatar that became a running gag, picked up by the community in short clips, comments and edits.
