Where does the “Saufen, morgens, mittags, abends” meme come from?
The phrase "Saufen, morgens, mittags, abends" relies on the repetitive structure of the three times of day in German (morning, noon, evening) attached to the casual verb "saufen", which refers to drinking alcohol in a blunt, direct way.
