In June 2017, a Spanish court ruled in favour of Belén Esteban in her dispute with former manager Toño Sanchís, awarding her 465,331 euros. She raised “¡Págame!” as a war cry, covered by outlets such as elespanol.com. Musicians Dani & Flo and Cazamariposas turned it into songs, and Sanchís later wore a “Pay me” T-shirt as a joke.
