In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “NOUVELLE FRONNNCE” is an epic card of the Memes FR pack, number 4614 of the collection, and the 753rd best-known meme of its 3493 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “NOUVELLE FRONNNCE” meme mean?
The cry is thrown when someone wants to parody a speech about renewal: a big promise, a turning point, a “let’s turn the page”. Stretching the word, which turns “France” into a long “fronnnce”, is the whole comedy: it turns solemnity into farce. It goes under a video about change, as a reply to an official announcement or to mark a personal resolution. It also suits group chanting, which explains its success in clip comment sections.
Where does the “NOUVELLE FRONNNCE” meme come from?
YouTube videos attribute the phrase to Kenny: one compilation is titled “Kenny fait un rituel + NOUVELLE FRONNNCE”, filed among his best moments, and a track called “Nouvelle fronnce (remix bazardé)” reuses the sound. The cry therefore comes from an excerpt of his videos, later remixed and shared by other users. No exact dates are known. The meme’s strength lies in that stretched word, easy to imitate and impossible to mistake for anything else.
