In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Oh lala mon chouchou” is a common card of the Memes FR pack, number 4725 of the collection, and the 753rd best-known meme of its 3497 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “Oh lala mon chouchou” meme mean?
The line is pure exaggerated tenderness. Someone melts at a sight, a pet or a gesture and says it with a high, sing-song voice. People post it under adorable photos, use it to tease a friend who is acting bashful, or deploy it ironically when the cuteness is a bit forced. Tone matters far more than the words: a sigh, a smile, a wink. In comments it works like a spoken heart emoji with a playful wink attached to it.
Where does the “Oh lala mon chouchou” meme come from?
The sound circulates on YouTube in short clips, among them a video titled “Mon chouchou” from the channel Tokita and another called “olala mon chouchou aiiiie” from the channel bibi. These low-key uploads show how the line was lifted out of its original moment and turned into a ready-made recording. Both versions share the same sing-song intonation, which made it easy to reuse in edits, reaction videos and captions on animal pictures among French-speaking viewers.
