In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “OUFFF” is a rare card of the Memes FR pack, number 4486 of the collection, and the 753rd best-known meme of its 3502 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “OUFFF” meme mean?
The word imitates breath released after a scare: the more F’s, the bigger the relief. People use it to react to bad news dodged, to waking up and finding it was only a dream, or to an awkward moment that finally did not happen. It also works as an answer to a fear poll, admitting that a very specific nightmare comes to mind. The humour lies in the theatrical exaggeration of the sigh.
Where does the “OUFFF” meme come from?
Nightmares are distressing dreams, sometimes felt as very real, and talking about them is a common topic on social networks. “OUFFF” settled there as a reaction sound, stretched at will. Reused in clips and comments by French-speaking users, the line fits any moment when fear fades, from exams to last-minute forgetfulness.
How to use the “OUFFF” meme
