Where does the “P.I. Pas Intéressé” meme come from?

The line comes from “Parle à ma main”, the fifth single of the French parody group Fatal Bazooka, performed by Michaël Youn with Yelle and released on 15 October 2007 on the album “T'as vu ?”. The title borrows the English phrase “talk to the hand”, which the song helped popularise in France. It entered the charts at number two, reached number one in its second week and stayed there for seven weeks in a row. The video, whose gym scene took cues from Gwen Stefani's “Hollaback Girl”, won Clip of the Year at the 2008 NRJ Music Awards. Years later, the line lives on as a sound bite and a meme caption.
