In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Social Awkward Feldup” is a rare card of the Memes FR pack, number 4065 of the collection, and the 753rd best-known meme of its 3497 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “Social Awkward Feldup” meme mean?
You reach for this meme when an awkward moment settles in: a silence that drags on, an answer that misses the point, a botched introduction. The label “social awkward” names the discomfort, while Feldup’s name winks at fans of his videos, which tend to have a dark mood and strange stories. The mismatch is the humour: a lunch-table or video-call blunder treated with the gravity of an internet investigation. It lands best with people who follow the channel, and it travels through comment sections and group chats.
Where does the “Social Awkward Feldup” meme come from?
Feldup, real name Félix Dupuis, was born on 5 March 2002 in Franche-Comté. According to Wikipedia he is known for horror and internet-mystery videos, above all his Findings series, which traces how dark legends took shape on YouTube, Reddit or in alternate reality games. He cites the channel Marble Hornets and the Slender Man creepypasta as what drew him in. His 100th Findings episode, in February 2024, covers the short film This House Has People in It, and he has also documented the lost songs Everyone Knows That and Subways of Your Mind. He has run a music career alongside since 2016. His channel, followed by a large French-speaking audience, has inspired parodies in which other creators imitate him. That community is the ground where such a recognisable name travels as a meme.
