In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Tête de glucide” is a common card of the Memes FR pack, number 3619 of the collection, and the 753rd best-known meme of its 3493 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “Tête de glucide” meme mean?
The phrase is friendly teasing: it is thrown at someone who does something clumsy, pulls an odd face or says something absurd. The word “glucide” (carbohydrate) is funny because its school-and-nutrition register is far from a real insult. In comments it goes with funny videos and live excerpts. The humour is all in the mismatch: you mock someone using the vocabulary of a science class.
Where does the “Tête de glucide” meme come from?
The card points to several YouTube videos carrying the phrase in their title: a clip “tete de glucide” on the channel Drakeur and a short on CeMecLa called “Il avait une tête de glucide”. These comedic excerpts isolated the formula and made it easy to quote. Users reused it in comments, then in edits, until it became a card in the game. No precise date is established for its first appearance.
