In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Tostestas” is a common card of the Memes FR pack, number 4609 of the collection, and the 753rd best-known meme of its 3497 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “Tostestas” meme mean?
The run of syllables works as an absurd chorus: people chant it in comments, set it to music, or drop it to end a discussion. The fun is in the sound rather than the meaning. It instantly evokes the world of TheKairi78, Kenny and their Ramadan videos, and acts as a handshake between fans.
Where does the “Tostestas” meme come from?
The channel MaLeek posted “TheKairi78 & Kenny – TOS TES TAS (Remix)”, one of the first musical spin-offs of the phrase. Others followed: “LUDWIG VAN KENNY – TOS TES TAS (REMIX)”, a short version by Maurice le dinosaure, and a video by Fzwks Returns From The Hack that puts the scene back in a Ramadan context. Kenny himself uploaded a short film titled “Le rituel Tostestas”.
