What does the “Voler n'est pas bon !” meme mean?
The line is used as a very serious moral lecture applied to a trivial situation: someone steals a fry, a friend takes the last slice. The simplicity of the reasoning (stealing is wrong, people suffer) is funny next to the energy of the delivery. It also works to end an argument with a mock-obvious tone, or as a reaction to theft in a video game.
Where does the “Voler n'est pas bon !” meme come from?
The card quotes the rant as described: in 2019, someone explains that coming to people’s houses and stealing their money makes people suffer. A video by the channel Les Gameurs YaHu, titled “Voler n’est pas bon REMIX”, sets the line to music. That rhythmic version became the main format for sharing it. The card text gives 2019 as the marker, with no further detail on who appears in the original clip.
