“1000tipla” meme: meaning, origin and rare card

What does the “1000tipla” meme mean?

People use the term to highlight the comic gap between a car widely seen as unattractive or ordinary and an outrageous mechanical goal. The Fiat Multipla, often mocked for its unusual design, becomes the subject of an unexpected challenge: turning it into a performance beast. The meme captures the idea that any car, however unglamorous, can become an extreme build.

Where does the “1000tipla” meme come from?

The “1000tipla” project comes from Vilebrequin, a French YouTube channel focused on car builds and modified-vehicle test drives. The team set out to push a Fiat Multipla, an Italian minivan sold from 1998 and known for its distinctive two-tier windshield design, past 1,000 horsepower, a target almost never associated with this family car. The project's name condenses that numeric goal and the car's name into a single portmanteau, which spread widely among fans of French car-modification content. The video presenting the project and its build stages circulated broadly on YouTube, where the gap between the Multipla's reputation and the intended performance drew as much laughter as the technical feat drew admiration.

How to use the “1000tipla” meme

The reprint of the “1000tipla” card

The “1000tipla” card was reprinted as Epic (No. 4,903). A reprint is the same meme printed again, with a number of its own and a higher rarity than its first printing, which was rare. Its face reads “Reprinted card · Higher rarity”.

Every printing is dealt in the packs of the Memes FR pack, each at its own rarity: the higher it is, the rarer the card is to pull. Copies of the first printing already pulled stay as they are, and any printing counts toward completing a set.

MyMemeCards reprints a meme when it deserves more than the rarity of its first printing, such as a classic that became iconic after it came out: the reprint gives it a place among the most sought-after cards without taking anything from the players who already had it.
