In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “1420” is a rare card of the Memes FR pack, number 2303 of the collection, and the 753rd best-known meme of its 3496 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “1420” meme mean?
1420 acts like a shared password: someone drops it with no explanation and those in the know repeat or answer it. It is pitched as a competitor to 67, another number that became a gimmick among younger audiences. The humour comes from having no meaning at all; the laugh is triggered simply by saying it at the right moment. People use it to end a sentence, to cut off a serious discussion, or to wind up fans of another number.
Where does the “1420” meme come from?
The number was created by Samo to compete with 67. It belongs to the world of number memes, where a meaningless figure becomes a recognition signal in streaming chats and comment sections. The recipe is simple: one number, a community repeating it and a friendly rivalry with a number that is already popular. 1420 follows this pattern by betting on a longer figure that is easy to spam, aiming to push 67 out of fashion.
