In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “EHHH HAWA” is a common card of the Memes FR pack, number 4947 of the collection, and the 753rd best-known meme of its 3511 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “EHHH HAWA” meme mean?
The meme imitates the intensity of someone yelling a name with comic emphasis. People use it to gently mock an over-the-top reaction, or to call out anyone (not just someone named Hawa) with the same theatrical excess as in the original clip. Its short, repetitive shape - the name drawn out, the stretched letters - makes it easy to reuse in a caption or a comment.
Where does the “EHHH HAWA” meme come from?
The meme is built on a short clip where a name, Hawa, is shouted with an intensity unusual for a simple call-out. Like many very short sound-based formats, it detached from its original clip to circulate as a caption or a reaction, with the stretched spelling (“EHHH”) meant to render the intensity of the shout. Its spread owes more to how instantly recognizable and imitable the exclamation is than to a detailed story behind the scene.
How to use the “EHHH HAWA” meme
