In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Espèce de clasheur” is a rare card of the Memes FR pack, number 1718 of the collection, and the 753rd best-known meme of its 3493 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “Espèce de clasheur” meme mean?
The phrase works as an affectionate insult. In French slang a clasheur is someone who throws verbal jabs, known as clashes, at others. Delivered with Mr Kurnaz’s accent and his stubborn expression, it becomes a theatrical way of saying “stop acting like a tough guy”. People use it when a friend overdoes the trash talk, or under a video where someone plays the hard man without much conviction.
Where does the “Espèce de clasheur” meme come from?
Mr Kurnaz is a colorful character from the From Human to God universe, a French-speaking YouTube channel where he appears in many videos, alongside newer formats in English. His gestures, faces and lines have fed parody edits, remixes and clips reshared across social media. The card points to one of those expressions, “Espèce de clasheur”, paired with the closed-off look fans call his “segpa face”. The meme lives mostly on that face and that intonation rather than on a single scene.
