Where does the “Itteh Bitteh Kitteh Committeh” meme come from?
The meme originated from an image posted on March 2, 2008, on I Can Has Cheezburger, a major lolcat platform. The photo depicts a man holding several kittens close to his chest. While this post popularized the caption, the underlying image likely dates back to October 30, 2006, on the Russian site muhom.org as “Kittens wholesale.” An attribution also appears on Funnyjunk.
