Where does the “JL Tomy tout vert” meme come from?
The scene comes from an amateur video clip in which someone, fully covered in a green substance or dye, explains that they are “done for” while stating they have been scrubbing for ten minutes with no visible improvement, all delivered in a worried tone that clashes with how funny the situation looks. This kind of clip, filmed to document a failed household mishap rather than a staged skit, fits the tradition of amateur footage that goes viral for its authenticity and unintentional comedic timing.
