In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Même ma daronne était en B” is a common card of the Memes FR pack, number 804 of the collection, and the 782nd best-known meme of its 790 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “Même ma daronne était en B” meme mean?
The line calls out a situation so plainly visible that everybody saw it except the person who had to act on it. Exaggeration carries the point: if a relative with no interest in the game had worked out where the enemy was, the mistake has no excuse. French speakers use it far outside gaming, whenever an obvious piece of information was ignored — a traffic jam announced everywhere, an instruction repeated three times, an outage the whole office had flagged.
Where does the “Même ma daronne était en B” meme come from?
The line comes from French player Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, captain of Team Vitality, during the IEM Katowice 2025 tournament. On 1 February 2025 Vitality played the French side 3DMAX in the event’s second stage and won two maps to nil; the clip, taken from the match broadcast and then from stream rebroadcasts, shows apEX shouting into his headset with the scoreboard reading 17–15. Rebroadcast accounts picked it up the same day, among them an upload by @dailytwitch_france, and it then spread under titles about “apEX’s mum at B”. There is no encyclopedia entry for it: the quote lives in the comment sections of the French-speaking Counter-Strike scene.
