Where does the “Der Outfluencer” meme come from?
"Outfluencer" is a portmanteau blending "outfit" and "influencer," used in Germany to describe content creators whose activity centers almost entirely on showcasing their clothing. The word "influencer" itself has described, since the early 2000s, people who leverage a strong social-media presence to promote products or a lifestyle, an activity known as influencer marketing.
