What does the “Smazhte myaso maslom” meme mean?
The line poses as a serious recipe while being deliberately lopsided: grease the meat, insist, do it again. People use the meme to mock cooking tutorials, to tease circular advice, or to caption a clip where the logic collapses halfway through. It also works as a deadpan “of course” in reply to an instruction that means nothing. The comedy comes from the confident tone set against the absurd gesture, which can be spun endlessly with other ingredients.
Where does the “Smazhte myaso maslom” meme come from?
The meme appeared on the Russian internet in 2025 as a kitchen sentence repeated like a mantra. Users set it to music in remixes, and creators of AI-generated videos then illustrated it with dishes and gestures that grew more improbable each time. The ritual swelled from edit to edit, each version adding an exaggeration. There is no single founder to point to; the collective habit of repeating it kept it alive.
