What does the “Réel” meme mean?

Saying “réel” validates a remark in a single word: it’s true, that’s exactly it, I live the same thing. The word, borrowed from English “real” or “so real”, works as a short reply under a message, video or photo. The card’s version adds a funny comparison with a frozen ice pop, a Mister Freeze, to stress how solid something is. People use it to agree, to identify with a situation, or to close a discussion with a final nod.

Where does the “Réel” meme come from?

“Réel” spread through French-speaking social media as the equivalent of the English “real” or “so real”, used to show agreement and recognition.
