In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “T’as trop la rage” is a common card of the Memes FR pack, number 2361 of the collection, and the 753rd best-known meme of its 3496 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “T’as trop la rage” meme mean?
In French slang, “avoir la rage” means to be furious, frustrated, or eaten up by the urge for revenge. Telling someone “you’ve got so much rage” points out, with amusement, that they are overreacting. The meme works best through delivery: the drawn-out, almost sing-song tone turns the remark into affectionate mockery. People use it after a lost game, a disproportionate outburst, or to cool down a friend who is annoyed about a small detail.
Where does the “T’as trop la rage” meme come from?
Ritchi made it his favourite catchphrase. On YouTube, several videos reuse the line under titles such as “Golo et Ritchie: T’as trop la rage!” or “Ouais, tu as trop la rage”, and short edits mix the clip with gaming content such as Brawl Stars. The line then detached from its original setting and became a sound anyone can reuse, with remixes and spin-offs along the way.
