In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “That Changes Everything” is a rare card of the Memes World series 71, number 21239 of the collection, and the 210th best-known meme of its 300 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “That Changes Everything” meme mean?
The humor relies on dramatic irony: each addition announces a major revelation supposedly altering the scene's interpretation, but reality remains identical. Users create deliberately fake or absurd 'twists' to highlight the futility of an announced change or the absurdity of unmet expectations.
Where does the “That Changes Everything” meme come from?
The precise origin of this graphic format remains unknown in documented sources. No original comic has been reliably identified regarding the characters, their creator, or their first publication. An Imgflip page only confirms a model with this name exists since January 1, 2020, without links to earlier verified creations. Web results mostly point to recent videos or other memes containing the word 'everything', with no proven connection to this specific comic. The lack of reliable traces before this date suggests an obscure origin or unarchived organic virality.
