The scene belongs to La Cité de la peur, a comedy directed by Alain Berbérian and written by the troupe Les Nuls, released in French cinemas on 9 March 1994. Inspector Patrick Bialès, played by Gérard Darmon, offers a whisky to press agent Odile Deray, played by Chantal Lauby; she asks for only a finger, and he answers with the line. The gag predates the film: the same two performers had already played it in a photo-novel sketch for Les Nuls on Canal+, roughly two years earlier. The broadcast date of that sketch is not documented by the sources consulted.
