Where does the “Wait A Sec Are U Trying To Cheat Me Again” meme come from?
The Dolan comic series was created in summer 2010 by artist Sakolut on the Finnish forum Kuvalauta, under the initial title *Aku Ankka* (Donald Duck in Finnish). The first archived English-speaking dissemination dates back to August 12, 2010, on 4chan. The drawings, deliberately rudimentary and made in MS Paint, feature approximate English. The image generally contrasts Ferrari Goofy (or Gooby), a distorted parody of Goofy who is wary and driving a Ferrari, with Dolan, a altered version of Donald Duck often involved in pranks. For this specific phrase, no exact publication date or distinct identifiable author is documented. The format's success relies on its visual simplicity and adaptability to minor social conflicts.
