Where does the “Will Sasso's Lemon Vines” meme come from?
The phenomenon emerged in February 2013 on the platform Vine, then at the peak of its popularity for six-second videos. Canadian actor Will Sasso, known for his stint on MADtv, posted a series of clips showing ordinary domestic activities. Each video ended with a rapid expulsion of a lemon wedge. Sources indicate that Sasso created these sketches at home, without a specific target audience, simply to kill time. A compilation later circulated on YouTube, amplifying the format's visibility.
