The line comes from Les Guignols de l’info, a latex-puppet parody of the evening news that aired on the French channel Canal+ from 29 August 1988 to 22 June 2018. The show lampooned politics, media and celebrities, and its news anchor repeated catchphrases that became running gags. After the attacks of 11 September 2001, the puppet of Osama bin Laden, a reworked version of the Harlem Désir puppet, turned into a recurring character with his own vocabulary. The cave song belongs to the sketches the channel later gathered in compilations about him. Fans then clipped and reposted the moment on YouTube and social media.
