Comments quoted the line as it stood, then French humour accounts replayed it as dubbing and subtitles over unrelated scenes. A sung edit built on the clip later settled on YouTube, which took the line out of TikTok and gave it a second life as music. No press coverage followed the video: nothing is known about the people filmed beyond what the clip shows.
