What does the “François Legault embrasse sa sœur” meme mean?
The image comes back for any badly framed show of affection, the kind where the photo tells a different story than the scene: a family hug that, frozen on one frame, reads as something else. The meme targets the framing and the live broadcast, not the relationship. More broadly it answers an overdone public display of emotion, or mocks a political celebration spilling over. In Quebec, merely mentioning the kiss points back to that election night.
