Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “In english please” meme mean?
The phrase cuts a conversation short with a blend of politeness and irony when it drifts into a language the listener cannot or will not follow. It stages a mismatch: an interview caught in the whirlwind of a streamer event, where the language barrier and the awkwardness in front of a camera carry the comedy. In everyday chats, it is a joke aimed at someone speaking in a muddled way, or a cue to start over from the top.
