What does the “Je ris, je ris, je ris” meme mean?
The phrase is the opposite of what the game demands: on the show, laughing means losing. Hearing it three times in a row feels like someone fighting the urge, then giving in while honestly announcing what is happening. People quote it when a giggle fit builds at the wrong moment, in a meeting, in class or during a funny clip. It also works as a reaction to content that genuinely cracks you up, a way of saying you lost the game.
