In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Rainbow mimi cat” is an epic card of the Memes FR pack, number 2785 of the collection, and the 753rd best-known meme of its 3501 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “Rainbow mimi cat” meme mean?
The line evokes childlike sweetness at the worst moment, a tense reunion in front of cameras. People quote it to point at an emotional slip, an odd declaration or an awkward reaction. The cute image of a soft blue and pink rainbow cat clashes with the dramatic stakes. It is funny because it is absurd, and easy to remix: swap the cat for anything. It means “I’m panicking and saying nonsense”.
Where does the “Rainbow mimi cat” meme come from?
The card places the scene at the moment Maïssane meets her ex again for the first time on a reality TV show. In that emotional beat she says the line about a soft cat, blue and pink, rainbow-colored. The gap between the serious situation and the naive wording made the clip memorable. It was then cut into short videos and shared, and the line detached from its context to become a comment-section phrase.
