In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Jojo Fantaisie” is a common card of the Memes FR pack, number 1095 of the collection, and the 875th best-known meme of its 976 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “Jojo Fantaisie” meme mean?
The phrase names the unapologetic eccentric: the one with a theory about everything, a project a week and no doubts at all. It is used fondly for an inventive friend, or mockingly for someone whose ideas are decorative rather than useful. It also works as an improvised nickname when someone announces a frankly baroque outfit, plan or recipe.
Where does the “Jojo Fantaisie” meme come from?
The music video posted on 14 July 2025 pairs the character with the French producer and DJ Mosimann, whose work is precisely about turning spoken lines into danceable choruses. That format, the quotation remix, is what carried the name beyond its original audience: the lyrics shrink to a few repeated words, which makes them quotable without having seen the sketch they came from. The authorship of the character itself, which predates the video, is not documented by a consultable primary source, and no attribution is advanced here. What is established is the release, its date, and the collaboration behind it.
