In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Le Lobotomisateur” is a common card of the Memes FR pack, number 2620 of the collection, and the 753rd best-known meme of its 3493 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “Le Lobotomisateur” meme mean?
The character reads as a classic comedy sidekick: mischievous, devoted, always working for a Mastermind who is supposed to plot everything. The word “lobotomisateur” is funny for its pompous ring and its idea of a machine that makes people dull, which fits the absurd humour of memes. It comes out when someone wants to name the zealous deputy of a silly project, the accomplice carrying out the boss’s plans, or a cartoon-villain duo.
Where does the “Le Lobotomisateur” meme come from?
The card introduces the character in one simple sentence: he is mischievous and he is the Mastermind’s right-hand man. That wording sets up a villain-and-sidekick pair, in the tradition of cartoon and video-game baddies where a brain gives orders and an assistant carries them out. The name, both technical and grandiose, does the rest: it is enough to recognise the character and cite him as a shared reference.
