What does the “Le pique-nique sa mère” meme mean?
The title works as a line of exasperation, roughly “what a fuss over a picnic”, applied to a moment meant to be peaceful that turns grotesque. People use it for a trivial event blown up absurdly, or an outing that goes off the rails. It also points to a whole kind of humor: the remix, which turns a children’s show into a comic nightmare through repetition, warped sounds and re-cut dialogue.
