What does the “Même que des fois moi je vomis” meme mean?
The meme teases anyone who hijacks a conversation with something unrelated to what was just said. One person tells an anecdote, and the other answers with an absurd remark about their own mishaps, with disarming confidence. Use it when a reply lands far off target, when a friend cuts into a story to talk about themselves, or to caption the awkward silence after an out-of-place comment. The innocent tone and the trivial punchline carry the joke.
Where does the “Même que des fois moi je vomis” meme come from?
Ice Age: The Meltdown is an animated film directed by Carlos Saldanha and released in France on 5 April 2006. It follows Manny the mammoth, Sid the sloth and Diego the saber-toothed tiger. The line, often spelled “Même que des fois, moi ze vomis” to render the lisp, comes from a scene in which a character answers off-topic after a story told by Manny. The clip was reposted on video sites in the years after the release, on channels dedicated to cult quotes, cartoon best-ofs and funny-moment compilations. Fans turned it into a ready-made reaction to misplaced replies.
