Germano Mosconi, born in San Bonifacio in 1932 and died in Verona in 2012, led and later anchored a regional newscast covering Verona. Tapes never meant for broadcast, showing him losing his temper or stumbling over a word between takes, spread online and became sound samples reused in electronic remixes and comic edits.
