In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “BEZNOGNM” is a common card of the Russian Memes pack, number 92 of the collection, and the 132nd best-known meme of its 300 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “BEZNOGNM” meme mean?
The name BEZNOGNM points to a supposed recording of a broadcast signal intrusion, a very specific kind of digital urban legend where a normal broadcast is interrupted by strange images and messages. It is cited to evoke that particular thrill of found-footage stories, half fascinating half unsettling, that circulate on forums. The lack of solid proof is part of the myth itself: that very doubt keeps the legend alive rather than extinguishing it. It works as a reference point for fans of urban legends tied to television or mysterious recordings.
Where does the “BEZNOGNM” meme come from?
“Broadcast signal intrusion” stories form a category of legends and documented real cases where a television broadcast is interrupted by foreign, sometimes threatening, content. BEZNOGNM appears within that body of cases, notably listed on collaborative “unsolved” case lists devoted to the phenomenon, where its status is explicitly marked as unconfirmed rather than established fact. The card dates it to 2008 and lists it as Runet format, matching the period when this kind of story, blending a Russian-language channel with an unsettling found-footage aesthetic, began circulating on forums dedicated to internet mysteries.
