In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Mysh (krodetsya)” is a rare card of the Russian Memes pack, number 136 of the collection, and the 40th best-known meme of its 300 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “Mysh (krodetsya)” meme mean?
The meme is used to ironically comment on someone moving discreetly or failing to go unnoticed. The mouse photo, captioned like a theatrical stage direction (“sneaking”), mocks people who think they're being subtle while everyone can clearly see them. The deliberately broken spelling adds to the joke's casual, mocking tone.
Where does the “Mysh (krodetsya)” meme come from?
The meme dates back to 2018 and belongs to the Runet, the Russian-language internet, where captions with intentional typos form a recurring comedic style. Its format pairs a mouse photo with a misspelled parenthetical stage direction, “krodetsa” for “sneaking” (a broken spelling of крадётся), as if the animal were following a stage note. The card tags it as Runet format for the year 2018; beyond that circulated image, no specific video or channel could be confirmed as the exact source despite searching. The bracketed stage-direction format later got reused for other animals and situations in the same comedic register.
