Where does the “Easy open” meme come from?
The meme comes from a sequence of Joueur du Grenier, the retro-gaming video series created in September 2009 by Frédéric Molas and Sébastien Rassiat, known as Seb. In the clip, Seb tries to open a milk carton labelled as easy to open and cannot, contradicting the promise printed on the pack. The moment was reposted under the title “JDG Ouverture facile pas si facile” and reused in edits. Seb, who mostly worked off-camera in the early episodes, later became one of the show’s faces.
