Where does the “Prostagma ?” meme come from?
Age of Mythology, a strategy game by Ensemble Studios, was released in 2002. Its Greek units answer in Greek, and the selected villager asks “prostagma?”, a word for an order or command. The sound, very short, has circulated on its own ever since, lifted from the game and reshared under that single word: the most reshared clip was posted on 5 August 2023. No article documents how the meme spread, so this entry stays with what the game lets you hear: a unit asking for its orders, and not moving before it gets them.
